Hair Issues: YF and EF but no AF?

I have a major problem with some hair. I linked the adult and elder 3IDR files to the mesh package and not the young adult one(because it had the incorrect format), but when I edited the mesh file, it only changed the elder and young adult hairs. The adult hair was exactly the same as before(which is bad because that's the one I needed to change). Help here?

What had the incorrect format? If this mesh works for adults, it should also work for young adults.

What hair did you clone? Did the hair you cloned have the correct ages? What about your recolor? Did it have the correct ages?

Are your age numbers correct? 8 for adults, 40 for young adults? You can combine adult and young adult if you wish, use 48.
