I need some help!

I can't seem to get some download from the site to work and I'm not sure how to do it. I've made a mods/packages folder but I can't figure out where to put it and how to get it to work with the game with out problems. can someone help?

You have to have the framework installed... You can use Delphy's most excellent framework installer which can be found here (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=384014) .

Do you have Ambitions and/or the latest patches? It makes a difference where you put it.

Since patch 1.12.70, installing CC is really easy and the tutorial walks you through every step (not that there is much you need to do!). If you are still stuck after reading that then you should ask in the help (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Sims_3_Game_Help) forum, as this section is just for discussion and not technical issues.
