advice/ideas/opinions on my hair textures + recolor?

hi guys, i've been trying to do hair textures for aaaages and a few days ago, i think i finally got it. they're neons because i suck at naturals so far.

Not bad - it's looking a bit flat though. Try increasing the amount of contrast - lighter highlights, darker shadows.

Also, I dunno if this'll be of any use to you, but this girl has hair pretty much exactly that colour and saturation:

There's quite a few more in her Flickr too - might be useful for reference on what shades to use as highlight/shadow on a similar colour/shade/etc.
