Taking portfolios

How can i take portfolios for my architectural job? Do i need to buy a camera?

No, when you get a good review, the game wil prompt you to take a portfolio picture. You can use your cellphone.

Or if you have WA you can use a camera bought from BuyDebug or a travel destination.

Does the quality of the camera or the photo skill make a difference when you build your portfolio?

Nope, it builds the portfolio on "different types of job completed" not picture quality. You can take a picture of a random tree and it will still count. although My Sim seems to be stuck on 55% with his Stylist Portfolio.

Actually AnnaIME, the quality of the camera does make a small difference. What severedsolo said is correct, it won't improve the quality of your portfolio by taking the pictures with a better camera, but having a better camera in your Stylist/Architect Sim inventory while on jobs will let them take larger and better pictures. The default pics are tiny. I especially like this :)
