Can someone tell me how to recolor custom content using TSR Workshop? I know how to make objects, etc... using Workshop, but I'm not totally sure of how to recolor custom content using it. I tried, but my object didn't show up ingame.

What I did was this:

* Clicked on "New Import" to bring in the .sims3pack mesh
* Exported all of the textures
* Replaced the textures with my textures
* Imported my textures into Workshop
* Saved and exported my .sims3pack file

I tried it ingame, and it wasn't there at all. What is the problem? Do I need to have the original file in my downloads folder also?

What object is it? Is it not CASTable in game? If so, it's better just to make new patterns and apply them in-game. If not, then it's probably simpler to use s3pe (with default resources only UNticked) to make a complete new set of default textures for it. TSR Workshop is optimised to link to patterns that exist in the EA files.

It is a blanket, and yes it is recolorable. I wanted to use the Overlay in Workshop for them, not patterns. I just want to know how to recolor custom content using Workshop.

You will probably get more detailed help for Workshop by posting in the TSR forums. I mean at this level of technical detail that you need. Also if it is obstructing what you want to do, one of the people there will pass your comments to the development team.
