Error on Exporting

I am just starting to learn how to mesh, and I've been working on this cropped hoodie for a while.

I realized that I needed to attatch part of the nude mesh so I don't have any floating top, like the picture below.

So I matched up the two different seams, and merged them into one group but whenever I try to export the new mesh I always get this error.

What am I doing wrong?

IIRC, using the Clean tool in the Tools menu fixes this.
