I can build and decorate a lot, edit town and build families, but as soon as I enter live mode to play it crashes. I've read that this has been a problem and there were several answers non of which worked for me. I uninstalled all cc and deleted the files, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I updated the graphix card and did the the CFF/LAA thing. I'm not too computer savvy but I had my mom help a little and she said we meet/exceed all the system requirements aside from the HD space, she said computer has about 4 and not the 7 it says is needed. This didn't start happening to me until I downloaded Barnacle Bay. I have a 500gb external hard drive and was wondering if that would help, but I just don't think space is the issue. I'm super bummed because I haven't gotten to play my Late Night at all. I hope someone can help

You didn't include the graphic driver or date, your sound driver is over 3 years old, ATI 2600 isn't great, the other specs should be ok. Which hard drive are you referring to for installing C: or D:? C: has plenty of room. Which games do you have and what is the current patch level of each? You have removed all custom content? No package files, no store content or sims3packs of any kinds installed currently? Have you attempted to rename the user files and make the game regenerate new ones?
