View Full Version : Recoloring Maxis bedding

I'm trying to recolor maxis bedding using Lucas' Easy Bedding Texture Creator, but the texture file that it generates on my laptop isn't the correct size of 1024x512. Instead it generates a texture file of 512x256. I have followed directions, but it still doesn't generate the correct texture size. I have my laptop set to it's highest screen resolution, so I don't know what else to do. This is the easiest program I know of to recolor Maxis bedding. Can someone help me figure this out or lead me to another program or tutorial to recolor Maxis bedding?

I am unfamilar with the Lucas Bedding Creator, so I don't know if there are settings to within it to upsize your graphic. However, the 512x256 texture will work ... it just won't have as much detail. You can use your graphics program to resize the file to 1024x512.

I can't get the program to do anything other than give me the proper size image. I can't find anything in the program for options or any type of ini preferences files in the Program Files locations. Have you tried with both the scalloped and wavy edges?
I usually use templates from RGiles and Darts when making bedding. http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=31640

Yes, I tried with both the wavy edges and the scalloped edges, and the texture was still too small. Maybe it's b/c I'm on my laptop.
Thanks for the link :)
