My Sim won't give birth

I have all the expansion packs, no stuff packs and while playing SIMS 3 I have a sim who has been pregnant way too long (maybe 10 days). Is there any way to force her to have the baby?

i know no cheats or anything cept kaching.

i'm even affeared of the newfangled maxmotives sillyness with the testing cheats and the make all happy...

now why would i want everyone happy? they're supposed to be my outlet for not making REAL humans suffer, and i NEED this sim to stay up all night for whatever reason

did you maybe change the sims lifespan? would that even effect their pregnancies?

i honestly dont know, it was just a thought.

I remember hearing that once a sim is stuck pregnant they can't give birth, though it's never happened to me. The only thing you can do is use a mod to end the pregnancy. Twallan's Master Controller might be the most useful because you can also use it to spawn an instant baby and it would almost be like she gave birth anyway.

Would that reset her skills and whatnot?

No. It teleports the Sim back to their home lot where any glitches are corrected. I use the cheat a lot and have never noticed any loss of skills, etc.
