I tried to look for it under CC help but can't find anything about it, so I'm going to ask about it here, hope it's not out of context. I just got Sims 3 and 4 of its add ons a few days ago... it's definitely fun, and much better than sims 2 (except for somethings like pathfinding which is still... urghhhh)...

With small family sims everything is just dandy and enjoyable... the problem comes when the family getting bigger (like the one I'm playing which was only 2 adults with their 2 young adult kids, but then they're having a twin! and also a robot sim through "my best friend" award... now I have 7 sims living in a house and I have to micromanage to get maximum efficiency... and it feels a lot like babysitting them every single min more than anything now.

I'm wondering if there's an add-on out there that can manage my queue, where I can have a set of defined queue that I can set individually for each of my sims so I don't have to be on them all the time (macros along the line of if then and things like that)

Unfortunately, no. On the other hand sims take care of themselves a little better now than they did in TS2. Its a question I've often wondered about as well. Seems like a design oversight.

"...and I have to micromanage to get maximum efficiency..."

I like that phrasing. :)

Anyway, for that kind of sim management, you might want to look into AwesomeMod. I don't use it, but I think it offers quite a few options to handle a large household with minimal user input. Umm, just google it.

AwesomeMod has a feature that allows you to set a sim into a specific task and they will try to take the most efficient route to accomplish it. For example setting a sim to master cooking it would read books, take lessons, cook meals, watch the cooking channel, etc, whichever fastest way is available. It also manages their motives so they won't be lonely or starve while skilling.

Ty for the replies. I think I'll try out that AwesomeMod then, hopefully it can be customized to each sims need. As far as playing big family sim it's not actually so bad with using pauses... the only problem is that I can't fast forward the game or I'll miss a sim that's done with his/her task and then he/she would of course do something completely useless like going to bed with 80% energy left lol.
