Now that we have more options what adjustments have you made with your Sim's lifespan?
Based off a Sim's pregnancy lasting 3 days, I'm trying to closely mirror my Sim's lifepsan to a humans. 1 Sim day = 3 months.
Baby: 4 days - 1 year.
Toddler: 15 days - years 2 thru 5.
(I know 5 seems old for a toddler but most people don't start school until age 6. It would be cool to have a young child stage where they are a child but not yet in school.)
Child: 27 days - years 6 thru 12.
Teen: 24 days - years 13 thru 18.
(I know 19 is a teen yet, but most people graduate from school by age 18.)
Young Adult: 50 days - years 19 thru 30.
(Time to get yourself together before responsibilities really kick in. Maybe try a couple different jobs and do some dating before deciding on a career and/or getting married.)
Adult: 131 days - years 31 thru 64.
Elder: 59 days - years 65 thru 79.
(I found by Googling that life expectancy in the U.S., where I live, was 78.7 years in 2009.)
310 days in all. I know these numbers don't work out to exactly 1 day = 3 months, but it seems that in some cases you can only get so close with the sliders.
