Hello,

New guy here and was wondering about something. I've been using FaceGen Modeller to create some rather cool faces of people and I feel they could be used as mods for TS2 or even TS3. Because its not in the actual game yet and still in the FaceGen program, I didn't know where to post it. Apologies for that and feel free to move the thread.

Anyways, I can use this program to make faces of celebrities or real people from certain pictures; saving them in some formats like lwo. Here's an quick example I made a long time ago of football (soccer) player Lionel Messi.

Pictures like the one I've shown are what I can use for the models, a full frontal shot of the face with no camera angle. No hair blocking eyebrows or closed mouths would be ideal.

So thanks and apologies if this is completely in the wrong place

Cheers

There's some info on using Facegen to make faces for TS2 here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=437080

... with some comments I left on the thread about ways it should probably be improved before the results are ready for release. This can be done for TS2, but not really for TS3 - faces can't be 3d edited yet in TS3, and getting a face mask/texture overlay to work right and look good in TS3 is -very- difficult (really, it's better to do it by smaller amounts of texture, not an overall mask).
