Ive been working on a build set that contains an arch 1 tile and 2 tile and a single door and double door. When you look at the arch in game, one side looks fine and the other side is missing the depth and the top and bottom basicaly transparent except for the front. I am using TSR workshop, milkshape, and photoshop. I am still a beginer I might have messed up assinging the joint but will try again. I also would like suggestions on how the arch looks. I think it is kind of plain.

The arch in the front view look nice but the mesh is very strange. Did you respect all the group of the mesh ? I mean one for the north part, another for the south part and another for the shadow ? Is your texture transparent in some parts ?

I was confused about that actually. So what I did was select the interior and the front of the arch for one group. The back group i selected just the back faces and none of the interior. I guess my question would be do I need to divide the faces of the inerior of the arch for the front and the back.

Look more closely at how EA grouped theirs and mirror that grouping. Both sides, should have a front and interior.
As for the arch itself, I think it looks fine. A nice addition to match the windows :)

It looks odd because there is no beveling. It's very straight-planned. While it's not a bad thing, it's more of an intermediate consideration that slips beginners mind. I should know ;)

I thought it was kind of plain. I will have to try and bevel it more because it did come out quite flat. I didnt quite understand how ea had their groups. Do I need to overlap faces? I guess I just dont understand how to get an inerior of an arch on both the front and back of the mesh.

Technically they will overlap, yes. The game only displays one side of an arch, door or window at a time. So while they will looked overlapped in Milkshape and in TSRW, in-game it will be fine as one side isn't rendered. Each side has the front and interior (depth). Your already half way there with the one side finished. Basically copy, flip and align.
Hopefully that makes sense! Lol
