Stairs in apartment shell buildings

I can't seem to place stairs on the ground floor of my custom made apartment (inside the apartment shell building btw)

I've tried moveobjects on I've tried constrainfloor thingy.. and restrictbuildbuyinbuildings false and nothing works! :(

Can you be more specific as to *why* you can't place them. Do you get an error message? And pictures of where your placing them would be helpful.

It does say it can't level the terrain. But why?

I have added tiled floor.. I've tried removing it and still the same thing happening.

When I make a wall, it makes it.. 2 walls for some reason, but thats normal in apartments i've seen in bridgeport?

You can't place stairs on the first floor (lobby) of the apartment shells. All apartment shells automatically add a second story for every wall added.

Ah, that must be why then. I guess this problem has been solved now :faceslap:

Luckily while waiting for a reply I started to rebuild the apartment as a 4 story house.
