Bartender won't give me the drink!

So, ever since I installed generations for some reason bartenders won't give the drink to the sim who ordered it. food still work, but when it's a drink they mix it and then just throw it away but the sim who orded it still have to pay! :blink:

Same thing happens when my sims are making drinks at home. :( I don't have any mods that inflict on the bartending skill, anybody who knows how to fix this problem?

The problem is probably some outdated mod, and that mod doesn't need to inflict directly on the bartending skill in order to cause that kind of problem.

That's strange, I think there is something wrong with CC or mods, you should remove the mod folder to another place first, download delphy dashboard to clear the caches, then start a new game to test, that's my typical move when I have any weird problem.

Yes, the bartender supposedly "throws it away"... God, you're gullible, ulrikchen! Don't you see? He's obviously some sort of wizard that teleports the drinks to me! And that's the reason why I'm an alcoholic today. You are the reason why I drink, and it's just there, in front of me, and I can't control myself any longer, I can't... *sip* Mm appletini.

But... the drinks are alcohol free in the sims :wtf:

I didn't delete any mod but now the bartenders are so kind that they give the sim the orded drink... :Pint: and if now the nectar and cocktails contain alcohol, why won't sims get drunk after a few (or many) drinks?

because EA isnt terribly humor-inclined, i thought we have gone over this before?
sims 3 overall is much, much more tame than sims 2 and 1 were. i wish theyd have the guts to imply alcoholic consumption.

well, I don't find it more "tame" than previous sims games. Still, if they had added an option on drinking nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks it would have been awsome. cause I whould have a blast when seeing a drunk mummie walking around at night ;)

The lack of true alcohol in this game is a sad situation indeed and this mod (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=399992) adds some realism at least.
