(I hope this is in the right section, I did some searching before posting)

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed in Late Night, other Sims do not appear to be developing relationships on their own?

I never see another Sim in Late Night have a new Girlfriend or a new Boyfriend, there seems to be no development. In Sunset Valley, other Sims and NPC's seem to start families and relationships on their own all the time.

Just a curious question if anyone else has noticed this.

Many thanks. (ooh a cylon smilie, cool :cylon: )

Twallan's Story Progression Mod does that for you; it also doesn't clash with other mods and is compatible with every EP. Go look on youtube or try it yourself. :)

I can attest to the fact that Twallan's Story Progression mod definitely allows relationships to develop on their very own. I installed Taylor Swift in my game (hey, I'm playing Selena Gomez, 'k?). I also installed a biker gang in one of the houses in my town. I'm playing Brooklyn Heights from mysimsrealty.com, which is a really amazing town, IMHO.

To prove that Twallan's mod truly works, I switched to Taylor's character to raise her celebrity level (via Twallan's also-excellent Master Controller) and found that she was in the hospital giving birth to her first baby by one of the members of the biker gang, to whom she is now married.

Oh, if only true life worked out so well ...

I don't know if Taylor would have gone for him had she met him after I cranked up her celebrity level.

Best of all to you,

SQ :luff:

Twallan's mod is the best for this, now the sims is boring without it for me. Sims get in relationships, break up, and can even have "oops" babies and shotgun weddings in order to cover it up. I too was annoyed by the lack of relationships going on but with this mod it fixes it. The mod even makes sure to generally pair up sims who are compatible, so sims who want children go together and sims who don't go together, etc.

I don't have the story progression mod, but I do have Generations installed and my neighbors do seem to get engaged and have relationships. I seem to think less or none of that was going on in Bridgeport, but I could be mistaken.

I have just bought late night, and I have world adventures and ambitions. Id say that world adventures has been the best so far just because you get to dive in to different cultures and there are quests for those times when your enthusiasm to play dwindles.

Im finding late night pretty damn kool at the moment - the small apartments are a bit poo but what can you do when you live in the city? :P There seem to be a LOT of celebrities around so if you want to become one its pretty easy. The clubs are never as full as the trailers make out though and neither are the house parties. Im a sucker for trailers - bring on pets! :D
