help! a hairmeshing disaster!

ok I know I know I shouldn't have tried this but I decided to add groups manually to my pu and cm hair.

Well I knew about adding parts already and my hair is glowing blue. I'm currently trying to follow hysterical proximity's tutorial but there are some things I can't find from his instructions.


here are the exact directions I"m having trouble with because the items are not appearing where he describes in the tutorial:


4. Down at the bottom right, in the drop-down menu, Array should be selected.

4. Clone the last MATD for the age you’re editing in the recolor package


:I absolutely do not have an MATD I can't find them in the re color package!

and in the mesh package I have no array option either.

Please help!

alright I'm using the tutorial on the alpha skirt which is much easier for me to follow no offence to hysterical proximity.

but now I have a new problem
I can't figure out how to get unique instance numbers for the textures. fix TGI doesn't create them.
