I've been working on my first world the last couple of weeks; it's been a real learning curve and thanks to all the helpful people posting on forums at MTS have found helpful answers to all the problems I have come up against. It's just about finished but I have one question I am hoping someone will be able to help me with.
It's to do with the camera routing.
The world is a medium one. I have carefully done all the routing, painting the outer areas of map camera non-routable, but when I exported and installed the map into my game the camera floats above the whole map and all the bits I wanted hidden can be seen :(

And so to the question:
Have I done something wrong, not done something I should have, or is this because the map is a medium sized map rather than a large one?

Thanks in anticipation someone knows the answer!
Cheers!

Camera non-routable paint just stops the camera from being over the painted spots it does not stop the camera from seeing them.

This is the danger of trying to get the most usable space out of a Medium map. The edges are going to be visible at some angles no matter what you try to do. As Zaide said, the non-camera paint keeps the imaginary camera from traveling OVER the actual bits you have painted, but you can still SEE that area from other areas that aren't painted non-camera routable.

Ah, I see.
Thanks for your reply, skmt999
As it is my first map I chose medium.
I shall try a large map next time ;) :bunny:
