Mysterial Mortar and Secret Pirate Handshake

I has been unable to get mysterial mortar in the game and I need it to finish a treasure map.

My other problem is that I cant find the secret pirate hanshake interaccion, I have two sims that have become pirates and cant do it between them or with other pirate sims.

What Im doing wrong or lacking to get these things.

This took me a while to figure out, but you make the mortar by combining well water with two mystic dust (or whatever you call it) that you get from digging.

The Pirate Handshake is under "traits" in my game.

Thanks for the mortar info, and the handshake appeared after midnigth for use, weird.
