Where do you keep your Sims games?

Mine are everywhere. The ones I need are in a plastic bin I slide under my coffee table so they don't get dusty, but I have a few at a friend's, and few more still at my in-law's place. I'm hoping they'll all reunite one day again, once I re-do my little computer area.

A few years ago, I ditched the original boxes (with a bit of a pang, I have to admit) and put all the disks into a nice zippered CD case that lives in my computer hutch. The booklets are outside the case, but there's room in the case for them too, if I need to transport everything.

Also in the case is a hard copy of all the codes, as backup to the booklets. (And I have the codes on a doc in my computer, which is also backed up on an external hard drive. I'm not ever going to lose those codes!)

Anyway, I love having all the disks together and taking up a whole lot less space than they did in the original boxes.

I have what's basically a phone stand...top surface for a phone, space underneath for phonebooks, and a storage area beneath that has a little door.

The printer's on top of it, assorted stuff in the space beneath, and in the storage area, my Sims 2 DVDs and whatever Prima guides my son hasn't made off with.

Mine are on a very high shelf as I have 8 kids and the youngest 6 are all under 6 years of age. They're not organized. When you have 8 kids you're not organized, not for long anyhow.

They, like all of my computer-related CDs/DVDs, are on a spindle that originally held blank DVDs. I can't be bothered with boxes and cases and stuff. They each have a sticker with their serial number written on them. However, my current "base game" is Double Deluxe, which was downloaded from EA, so no DVD for that. :)

Mine are all digital copies, with the exception of TS3 base game. I don't have to worry about accidentally losing or breaking the disk, so it's much more suitable to do it that way. I have shit luck when it comes to breaking and/or losing things.

Mine are in the closet. In the verrry top. One disk stays in the comp for playing. I recently dragged back out my Sims 3 games. Installing one by one and leaving out Pets till I get a stronger comp. :(

I keep TS2 installed for TS3 breaks. There are some things about each that I like. So, take those out of the bin and reinstall them!

TS2: all the Mac releases (except Bon Voyage) and all the PC releases (except M&G) live harmoniously in a paper grocery bag in my utility closet. They are only pulled out for re-installs. (I've had to reinstall all 7 billion PC disks 4 times now. GAH!) Bon Voyage for Mac sits on the shelf next to my entryway where I keep my laptop bag, just in case I decide I need Sims at work or on a trip. The empty M&G box sits next to my monitor on my desktop. I am obsessive about returning the disk to the box if I swap it out of the PC for any reason. (Yeah, that's right, I authenticate to the disk. I am the opposite of cool and hip.)

TS3 and Sims Medieval: neatly ordered on the gaming shelf in the living room...because there's no more room in that paper bag.

Edit: Please don't come to my house and steal my stuff.

Either in my big Black and Red bag that I take everywhere along with my computer or on my floor scattered everywhere or on top of my dresser. Since my room is cleaned all my Sims games are on my dresser and the one I play currently in my computer.
