grey screen

when i view my world in e i g in map view i can not see the town.the icons are there but i cant see none of the buildings or landscape just a grey screen,but when i zoom in to ground level i can see everything.but ther is always that grey image following where ever i move.any suggestions. please. :help:

Try turning your camera settings to high. Go to View/Camera Settings/LOD Transition Distance, and move the slider bar all the way to the right. Also, before you enter EIG, move the camera all the way to ground level as far as it will go, without going through the surface. Then enter EIG.

Try that and report back. :)

I tried what you said ,but it made no difference to the view is there any other solutions.

I think I also read somewhere to make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. There should be someone more knowledgeable around who might have some suggestions.
