View Full Version : Halloween Plans?

Since it's coming up in 6 days, I thought I'd ask everyone what, if they are celebrating, they plan on doing?

I'm working "Hallow-weekend" and the 31st is a Monday so I'll probably just veg out on scary movies. (By the way, if anyone has good suggestions, let me know. I don't scare easily so it's difficult finding a legit scary movie. I don't have a weak stomach either. Bring it on, blood and guts.) This week on campus they are having a bunch of small events in the residence halls in Central (that's just the area where my dorm is.) Tomorrow night they're showing Halloween in the lounge of my building. I actually haven't seen it before. Friday they are doing a double-feature of A Clockwork Orange and Eraserhead. I feel like I might be one of the few girls who goes to that.

Any plans? Any suggestions for horror movies? Did you actually read my post?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. It doesn't seem to fit anywhere else.

My friend is hosting a get-together/"Just Dance" tournament. I'm going dressed as Him from the Powerpuff Girls.

I did read your post, but I don't have any ideas for actual scary horror movies.

Off topic, but is your Avatar from The Road to El Dorado?! I loved...actually, still do, that movie!

I'm jealous. I really want Just Dance. I've heard it's so much fun!

Well spotted!
It's not fun. It's not fun at all. The Wii sucks at motion tracking, and because it only tracks your arm movement, it overly empathises arm dance moves. This is ridonk, given that my usual style of dancing is an unidentifiable jiggle.

In the process of making a costume of Thomas from the electronic music group Daft Punk. ;D

I have no idea what exactly I'm going to do though; either go to my friends house, or go out into the town and go crazy in one of the bars with loud music :3 (don't worry I'm the legal age!)

I have a feeling my teachers are going to be cruel and assign homework... I have a test scheduled for Monday (on the skeletal system, funny enough)

If not, my friend is having a few people over to watch some scary movies. :) Since I don't like gory movies, I'm hoping they'll just be cheesy old Halloween movies.

I have to get up early to go help my Journalism teacher pick up the school newspapers since we're handing them out. Then school as normal, going to fail my Honors Chemistry quiz and excel in my speech for Honors Literature. When I get home, I gotta quickly do homework so I can open my birthday presents. (I turn 17 on Halloween), then I'm going to my friend's house so we can go trick or treating. I'm dressing up as the serial killer in the Scream movies. After that, I'm going out with my girlfriend to see the Paranormal Activity 3 movie. Then sleep.

I'll probably spend my afternoon sleeping in the library after watching some halloween-themed DVDs and reading horror stuffs and dreaming of trick-and-treating.

I have to give a presentation in one of my English classes, hand in the first draft of my novelette, and go through the rest of the school day as normal. Then, I get to come home, do assignments, cook dinner, and go to bed to dream of the Halloweens I used to have when I lived in Tokyo. I'd go to the American embassy and they went all out, smoke machines and all.

No Halloween plans because people don't really celebrate it here. :(

I'll basically be sitting in a classroom doing schoolwork all day. No-one really celebrates Halloween in Australia, and it's a shame. I'd love to celebrate it for once :)

Trick or Treat night was Thursday in my area (which I didn't do anyway) so no plans except for celebrating my dad's birthday... and sledding. After all who hasn't been dreaming of a white Halloween?

We always have a party and invite everyone we know, which, as Dan has his own building business and we have 8 kids is a lot of folk. The kids dress up, we have a barbecue, play games and at the end various people sing or do other things. Last year we also had a bonfire and fireworks and one of the kids managed to set fire to the bottom of our next door neighbors dress, which the kids all thought was great. {It was very long and trailed the grass}. We turned someone into a Mummy with toilet paper as well. It was a great evening and we are doing it again tonite as tomorrow is a Schule day.

Me, simple. This is the first Halloween I have off and I am not on vacation so I am going to SLEEP! I know it may seem kinda boring but when you work grave you have a tendicy to kill your social life. It was an easy kill didn't have much of a social life before. XD Would scare the neighborhood kids but the lady I rent a room from has a reputation in the neighborhood so, can't.

@unalisaa he's banging his head against the wall in tune to Funhouse by Pink, why this is amusing me I don't know.

Fully decked out the house with a lot of hidden scares for the chirren. I'm dressing up as a skeleton because it's cheap and candy was buttfucking expensive this year. I think I spent around $110.00 just on candy for the mobs of kids. I'm still trying to get my mom to at least dress in all black to hand out candy, because she has this light pink/blue thing she wants to wear like it's EASTER or something. gawl. I'm currently working on a completely from scratch pie and pumpkin seeds, which I'll eat tomorrow with dinner- ratatouille and roast chicken. yumyumyumyum.

Then I'm gonna stay up late watching scary movies and get up in the morning to be a character witness for a friend's dad. Fun times.

I'm going to my sister's party, tomorrow night. Still undecided regarding the costume... I think it would be enough to be myself.

I don't celebrate it and we don't normally celebrate it in Romania, however the other day when I was going to work, I saw a guy on the street wearing one of those ghost masks. It was broad daylight and he was flaunting it like it was the absolute most normal thing to be wearing.
