My sim keeps needing to go to work outside her working hours.

Not sure if it's a glitch or what, but lately one of the sims in my 4-member family keeps needing to go to work even outside of her working hours. She's Level 8 of the medical field but there are no pop ups of emergencies at the hospital, she just stands around being grumpy co she's missing work (she's a workaholic). Her work performance is also going down.

Anyone encountered this? I've tried searching but so far no one else has encountered this problem.

Do you have Ambitions installed? If so there are work things you do in the medical career outside of work hours... holding vaccination clinics and so on. Go to map view and see if you have any of those gold map tags indicating work responsibilities.

But I don't think those special medical career tasks say "missing work" if your sim doesn't do them.

Medical sims can be asked to work overtime a lot, so it's normal to work the correct work hours and then either stay there longer or get called back into work.

A few people have reported a bug where the work ours listed in the occupation tab don't match the actual work hours of the sim. I had this problem with one sim but it fixed itself when my sims career increased to the next level.

Yeah, I have Ambitions installed, but it's not one of those vaccination jobs. Nothing pops up, she isn't even told to go back to work overtime, so my poor sim keeps working non-stop and can't go home. Even after the number of hours she's supposed to work, she steps out but it still says she's missing work. This is the first time it has happened to my medical sim.
