Pets Collections folders

I can't figure out how to get items into a Collection. In the game I click on the collections icon and I can make a new collection with an icon but then I don't understand how to actually get things into the collection. I've hunted everywhere but I can't find an answer to this. All my collections are empty and can't work out how to get objects into the collections.

you click on the object....then the little screen pops up...and clear to the right is the add to collections icon

You have to click on the item *in the catalog*, not during a recolor or anything. So if you have a specific style you want to add, save it, find it in the catalog, click on it, and click the collections button in the popup infobox.

As far as I can tell you can choose to add a specific recolor to the collection by selecting the object, then clicking the specific recolor you want in the popup dialog, otherwise it just adds whatever the first default color is. It's really useful for saving "sets" of furniture after you've designed the room.

Thanks for the help. I play in English because I live in England and my kids are being raised here but I'm German and sometimes I have a blank moment in English. I had a big one over Collections so thanks everyone. I have now got it sorted and made a custom collections. Yahoo.
