Imagine you have two meshes in milkshape, with the same vertex number and ordering (for morphs, in two words), and only one of them has its vertices assigned to the bones. Is there any way to copy the assignments to the blank one??. I'd appreciate a lot any idea, cause that would save me a hell of work doing morphs, thanks.
Sorry if it is already answered, i've searched first but found nothing.

If the meshes are identical then this is possible with the OBJx data split exporter/importer, part of the sims 2 Unimesh plugin from Wes Howe.
I can explain how if you like but if the basemesh is already assigned then you dont have to do the morphs, morphs do not need boneweights.

Thanks a lot. I'm not doing a morph, the thing is that i made a mesh, asigned its vertices, and tested in-game, and now i need to refine a bit the mesh (without changing topology and vertex numbering) in 3ds max and not to waste time reassigning the bones.
This seems to be a good solution, i think i'll figure how to use the plugin (i'll ask if not), thanks a lot, i'm going to try now.
