I have all of the tools at my disposal, yet I can not load any object files into milkshape or Maya 2011.
Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a plug-in or are the object files not compatible. Maya errors and tells me "file not recognized".
Honestly I'm getting quite frustrated. I am left to assume that my tools are either incorrect, or I am not using them correctly.
All I wish to do is modify the existing in-game character meshes for more detail and higher resolution. I fI can get that much done then more will follow.
After all of the running about researching nearly the entire english speaking internet I am only left confused and frustrated.
I'd love to figure out how to import the Sword Of Power (Orriginal He-Man) I created as well. But I have nothing to compare scale to.
Any help or advice in this matter would be extremely apreciated!

Do you have Grim's CASPart cloner for clothing and hair? These can be done in milkshape.
As far as I know there's no way to modify furniture and other objects yet though.

I have Milkshape with all recommended plug-ins, Maya 2011, MudBox 2011, s3oc, s3pe, TSR Workshop, UDK, and a couple others.
Nothing has worked as it has supposed to. I've followed several tutorials with no luck. I'm not sure why nothing is working.
Hardware Specs;
Model: HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz 2.20GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System (Win 7 Home Premium)
Internal storage: (2) 500 GB Hard disks
All that with switchable Radeon on-board graphics with built-in 6 GB of RAM of it's own.
I really don't think it's a hardware issue.
Suggestions?

I have done a lot of work with TSM and milkshape. GEOM files should load ok. I've loaded other object files, but it requires a little more work. I am literally dying for more people to get into modding this game. If my tutorial doesn't help you feel free to ask any question you have. Please, however, ask in a thread where it can help more than just you. I'll check back here, so ask away.
I'll add that the object you trying to add has not been done before. I have messed around with Object files, but most of my thoughts on the subject are theorectical. I can say, at least, that I have loaded objects into Milkshape, and been able to modify them. I am much more familiar with clothing and body geometry, but the OBJD can be broken down into similar parts.
Edit: By the way, if you're really good, you don't need my cloner.

I was wondering what it's purpose was lol. But I'm not that good yet.
