I decided my sim (clarissa) needed to go out and start her own family. So I hooked Clarissa up with Sam Sakamoto. It wasnt meant to be:
red flag #1- I did not get the option to propose for marriage/going steady, despite the fact Clarissa presented him with a bunch of roses 3 different times.
red flag #2- Sam walked to up Clarissa's grandmother (Rhonda) and the next thing i knew, presented her with a bouquet of flowers!
I cancelled the action to recieve the flowers and sent rhonda to bed.
If you are wondering why I made Rhonda refuse the flowers, ask Rhonda's husband Harris!
as for Clarissa and Sam, they broke up. they broke up when Clarissa's husband was at the book store. Sam took it well. He later gave the happy couple (Clarissa and her husband) a wedding gift. (i dont get why). if I were sam, i would have given the couple a huge sack of dog shit.

Giving flowers is one of the most efficient relationship boosts, so the silly A.I. often gives flowers in any socializing situation. Annoys the heck of me to see their partner suddenly get Betrayed moodlet.

Flowers are a sexual interaction? How bizarre. I wonder if my sister knew that when she sent me flowers for Christmas?

EA really is warped.

My Mum gave me flowers the other week when I found out I'd passed one of my Masters degrees. Should I be concerned?! :-D

It does seem a fairly odd one to have as romantic - as does "Ask if single" or whatever it's called. Surely that can just be a friendly thing to ask someone - or a nosy thing anyway! :-)
