(Sorry If this is in the wrong place- I couldn't think where else to put it)
I am planning on buying a new computer, and would like it to smoothly run the Sims 2 (plus all EPs) and the Sims 3 (I have most EPs so far).
I have found a few so far that I think are of reasonable value, but being a complete noob, I'm not sure how well they will handle both games. I'm not one that really understands system requirements and performance etc!

Any advice you can give me will be much appreciated! Thank you :)

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Yes-ish
4) Yes-ish

Some don't really have full specs listed - a couple don't list the max RAM they can take, or the hard drive speed in RPM. Those are things you'd want to find out before buying.

If the Advent does have the specs then I would go for Advent. I have had my Advent for over 6 years. I have outgrown it by my Mum is now learning on it. It will still play games too, it ran all the Sims 2 & Expansion packs...and that is really old. Hopefully yours will not sound like a jet engine taking off though but if you can get to the store you can see for yourself.
