Sims 2 Movie Making: Writing at Desk Help

So I'm making a film about Edgar Allan Poe for an English class, and I want to know if there are any hacks or any animated objects that will allow a sim to write at a desk. I've tried using sitting position override animations, then have the sim write in their diary, but their arms get all crazy. Is there any suggestions as to what I can do? Also, since it's going to be about "The Tell-Tale Heart", I want to if there are any animations that are similar to swinging an axe. Thanks!

Bon Voyage comes with a very exaggerated axe-throwing animation, not sure if that helps.

Thanks so much! I looked for the axe throwing under the Bon Voyage movie box because I assumed there was something like it there, but I'm not sure where.
