First time setting up CC, not seeming to work

So I've tried just about everything there is to try to get CC up and running. I've followed all the instructions Sims Wiki (and other websites) has to offer on setting it up, and everything seems to fail.

As far as I know, I've done everything as I should have, and as proof of it working correctly, when I launch The Sims 3, the intro SHOULD NOT play and it should skip over to the load screen because of the NoIntro mod. Unfortunately, it does play, and that shows that something went wrong, despite doing everything right. I also cleared my Sims 3 caches, and the Wiki says.

As my last resort, I'm following the Sims Wiki "Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files/Not Working" page's instructions on posting a help thread right here, and what information to give you guys.


The Sims 3: GameVersion = 1.29.55.014001

I don't own any other expansion packs yet.

It also tells me to take a screenshot of my Packages folder, but it's completely empty, so there's no need.

Hope you guys can help me figure this situation out.

Hah.... it worked. Who would've thought the location of files in user-made folders would matter so much to the game.
