Showtime Performance: Relationship lost instead of gained

I looked around but I didn't see anything else about this, but I have noticed that my sims will lose relationship with sims that watch them perform. I've only tested it with singers so far, and it only happens with stage performances. Playing for tips works fine.

Anyone else noticed this or know if there is a fix? :cry:

...maybe they're just lousy singers? In TS...I think it was 1, if you were really bad on the piano you'd get booed and take a hit to your relationship.

I don't think so, I noticed it at level 8 of the career. Its really weird, I had her fiance come watch and he and several other sims there lost a lot of relationship after she was done.

There is a chance for sims to react negatively. That must be the code in action. It is tunable though, if you feel compelled to do so.

I think I'm going to test it more tonight. The thing that was getting me was how much it would lower it, and every single performance it did that to me. I'll try with some different sims and see what I get.

I've not experienced this but I have read of others experiencing it so you're not alone.

It's not a glitch. Except if after you try some more times, with the same singer, in various performances, and the results are the same, that your singer still lose relationship with the audience, then there's only two answers for that. Either it's true a glitch, or that your Sim-singer is being hated by everyone. The latter seems to be...(continue yourself)

Keep in mind, it's quite possible it's not a glitch, it's by design, AND EA just completely overdid it on the occurrence chances. Wouldn't be the first time.
