Hi all! First off, sorry if this is posted somewhere else...I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the right area to post this question; if it's not, again, I apologize. It's a pretty simple question anyways.

Anyway- I'll start by saying I do already know how to download mods and cc, etc..I don't have any major mods on my game but I have a couple, but mostly download clothes and hair and stuffs.

So while I'm searching for stuffs and I see things on here or on other sites, sometimes it says "mesh not included" or it has two separate links, one for the download and one for the mesh. I'm pretty sure I'm correct in thinking if the mesh isn't included it's not going to work. Can someone verify this for me?

My major question is about the times when I see two separate links for downloading...such as this one http://www.lilisims.com/archive_sims2_html/archive_sims2_female_html/archive_sims2_female_adult_html/archive_sims2_female_adult_page_06.html

This question is probably really dumb, but...it keeps bugging me :faceslap:

If I just download each one, the download itself and the mesh separately, will it still show correctly in my game? Or is there something else I need to do? All my other downloads include the meshes, so I never have to worry about it...but this has been coming up a lot lately. Plus, I've been getting more and more into modding my game, so I want to learn as much as I can.
----p.s.- the tutorials on here are fantastic, thank you all so much for the help you give!!

"Modding Discussion" is about making mods, not about using mods. ;) Moved to Site Questions and Issues.

To your question: Yes, if a download requires a mesh that is not included in the game and not included in the download, then said download will not work on its own. And also yes, putting the download itself together with the mesh into the game is exactly what you're supposed to do. :)
