Buyable transfiguratable items to get the Spire cut Tiberium from the Carter's Display Case

I'm trying to figure out which items I can buy from Buy Mode to put on the Carter's Display Case and transfiture into a Spire cut Tiberium.
The total final selling value of all the objects on the case (can be 8 or 10) has to be within 3,500 and 4,999 (http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Transfiguration#Misc).
What objects can I buy to do this?

What EPs/Sps do you have? More of them means more options.

In general: Find things that are worth 350-400 each and see if they fit on the display. You can fill out with things that are worth 500 if you have to. If you are stuck only using 8 objects, you can go as high as 600.

For some reason, my Tiberium is spire-cutting itself. I had a couple of raw ores sitting in my attic and one day I looked, and they had sprouted into spire cuts. They went from being around $250-300 to worth over $44k each.

Is that normal and something I've just never noticed before?

(They're also spitting out green sparks, which I've never noticed before either).

Tiberium ore automatically transforms into a spire-cut crystal after a while if left out of a sim's inventory. This, along with the Command and Conquer lore, is why it makes sims sick when it's in their inventory- so you'll take it out.

Then as it sits there it sprouts little green sparks, and eventually will grow even larger (though I think that only sometimes happens).

I have EVERYTHING, including the Store content.
I did try a lot of different objects, but most objects that can be put on the case can't be transfigured. I guess it has to be specific items. So far I've seen that things like fruits, gems, metal and relics can be transfigured. But I want to do it with something I can buy from Buy Mode, so I can do it over and over again to mass-acquire tiberium.

I am pretty sure you can't just put things from buy mode on there, which is the whole point. You can only transfigure things your sim has to work for.

Otherwise you move the poorest of sims into an empty lot, slap some objects onto a table, and they've doubled their money 3 times over. :p
