Cant make a hd Machinima with showtime

i want to make a movie with the new showtime but it don't let me videorecording in hd, i already read many post on many site but everytime i change it to 1280 it does only show 640 quality.

what do i have to change? I'm recording on large.

If you have to, you can use Fraps (which is annoying as hell), but it's never actually recorded in HD anyways - and this is coming from someone who does TS2 (and a bit of TS3) machinima. You have to use a third party program to get the desired results.
