is there a way to turn off the music for the fallowing areas Map View,Create a Sim ,Build Mode,and Buy Mode

you can mute the music overall but not just those specific areas

You could try Anach_NoAnnoyingMusic mod.

I think it kills the build & buy music...maybe more. They don't have it here, but I'm sure you could Google it...

Yeah Twoftmama does all of these.

If I remember correctly, you can disable specific musics in the music section of the options. If that's how it works, you can just disable all the songs.
