I didn't see a thread about this, and I searched as well. My old sims 2 disk was no longer readable, so I bought a newer disk. (Not the thick cased version, but the thin case just a few months ago at WalMart) I bought the Double Deluxe w/Nightlife. I tried to run bodyshop, but nothing happens. I go into the disk itself and try to run the bodyshop from the disk, but nothing happens again. (I'll double click, wait a few minutes and then go into processes from the Task Manager to see if it IS running, but nothing is coming up) I also used the RUN command and even going into the DOS to run it...but nothing. The disk is brand new. (just in case you were wondering) and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and then without custom content. I don't know if MAXIS got rid of it after so long or it just isn't available with a newer system.
