So i downloaded The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, Pets, and University with a CD. I believe i used the BodyShop from Pets. Then i downloaded Apartment Life, Bon Voyage, Free Time, and Seasons from Origin. The problem is the only Ep that shows up in the start menu or Programs file is Seasons. Because it's not the latest Ep BodyShop won't open. The Eps show up when i go to play The Sims 2 (the start menu thing were you press "play") and on Origin, they just don't show up where i need them, which is the start menu (the windows symbol in the left hand corner) or programs file. Because they don't show up i don't know where to find the bodyshop that comes with it therefore i can't open bodyshop with the latest ep that i have(which i believe is AL or BonVoyage). I installed all of them (Origin proves that) but they still don't show up anywhere but the sims 2 start menu. Please Help Me.
Thanks in advance
~Rhea

You could always search your hard drive for all versions of TS2BodyShop.exe, then run the latest version.

Each EP has its own Body Shop. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to see whatever new Body Shop items the new EP adds to the game.

Therefore, you need to run the version of Body Shop that comes with the latest EP, by release date, that you have installed. Meaning, if you're still using the same shortcut to Body Shop that you were using before you added new EPs, that explains why it's not working. It's not the Body Shop for the latest EP anymore.

Delete the shortcut you were using before. You don't need it anymore. Then see this article, which will help you find the correct Body Shop for your latest EP and create a new shortcut to use. http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Body_Shop

Unfortunately, that FAQ assumes that you've installed from DVD. She's having problems finding the bodyshop installed from Origin.

On XP, I right click on My Computer, then select Search... from the context menu. This brings up the Search window. We want to look for All Files and Folders. Type TS2BodyShop.exe into the field labelled "All or part of the file name". Don't click Search yet. Make sure that you are searching all of your hard drives. Then, choose "More advanced options" and check the following options:
- Search System Folders.
- Search Hidden Files and Folders.
- Search Subfolders.

Then, click on the Search button and wait while the search occurs.

Once the search has completed, you can sort by date by clicking on the Date Modified title. Then, look for the latest version of body shop. The file path is clearly indicated. You can ignore any files that do not have a full path, since they are probably inside of ZIP files.

Can anyone with Vista please help? Thanks!

In the interim, try right clicking on your C: drive and following the same instructions. I don't know exactly how different XP and Vista are, but the procedure should be similar.

Well, another option on XP is to choose Search / For Files or Folders... from the Start menu...

It looks like Apartment Life is your latest EP.

Note that the line across your original post makes the post more difficult to read. Could you please change it to contain a maximum of 80 dashes or so?
