I'll probably end up changing my mind but right now it would be the Ghost in the Shell universe.

I have a huge fear of losing my limbs and being able to replace it with something like this...

The discworld. I mean who wouldn't want to coast the universe on a giant turtle! Plus it has a lovable personification of death :luff:

hum...I watched the Movie Hero so right now I want to be in that Era/Time . But my original wish was to live in Faerun (the forgotten realms) with the dwarfs...the elfs...the half-elf and the drow . And blast away with fireball and bastard sword . Go poke in the Underdark sound good to me XD

Channelwood from Myst. It has NO PEOPLE!

Can't think of any from TV/film where I'd like to live, though- except maybe the world of Wallace and Gromit.

Probably Bag End from LOtR, otherwise the ocean planet from my favourite book, A Door Into Ocean. <: How cool would it be to dive in the ocean and be able to sit in little oxygen bubble things. xD

Probably Caprica City, would be cool to just take a vacation to one of the other 11 worlds. Definitely way before the holocaust though. :-P

Alagasia or maybe Unova (from pokemon)

Spitfire Mouse

Pern, but only if I can be a dragonrider.

Ansalon would be awesome, specifically Solace, but pre-War of the Lance.

Sacoridia, though I don't know if I would want to take the risk of being a Green Rider, maybe just short distance rides.

Mass Effect type world, without the reapers.
Or Rapture from Bioshock, without the splicers :giggler:

In Alastair Reynolds' book House of Suns, it's millions of years in the future, and the main characters are two 'shatterlings' (clones) of a woman who lived millions of years before. They fly around the galaxy in their spaceships. So that's the fictional world I'd like to live in (but preferably without the angry machine people).

D&D Faerun. Perhaps as either as a halfling or a half orc. **shrugs** that is just me.

Though I guess Mercedes Lackey Valdemar milieu is a good place.. Though I would not care to be Chosen. If I am going to be shot at. I would rather not be the largest target. Thank you.

Alan Dean Fosters "Spell Singers" world is an interesting one.

Though World of Darkness does have a certain attraction for me as well... I would be Garou. (Werewolf) Bone Gnawer Tribe...

There are a number of fictional worlds that I like, but I don't know if I'd fit well into anything that didn't resemble the modern world. I might enjoy the access to knowledge from being a scribe in the library of Candlekeep in Faerun, but I've got much better access to knowledge on my laptop, where I'm not required to be confined to a keep for the entirety of my life, indoctrinated into the prophesies of Alaundo. I might enjoy the access to replicator and holodeck technology in Star Trek's universe, but I would not like the strong central government or the use of the military as the primary explorers of foreign cultures. I might like the opportunity to form a mental link with a dragon on Pern, but anyone who isn't a dragonrider is considered a lesser being who can have their freedom and property taken from them at any moment to serve the purposes of the dragonriders, and very few people get to be dragonriders.

Most fictional universes are much more difficult to live in than our own world, precisely because works of fiction are boring without conflict. And too many stories (such as Star Trek and Dragonriders of Pern) favor a particular class of people over others, and life would pretty much suck if you're not part of the favored class.

But I'm probably over-analyzing this. :P

Dragon Age's Kirkwall or the Mass Effect universe. It would be AWESOME.
Living on the Citadel would be cool - not sure about the Reapers though.

Oh, what am I saying? Having Garrus as your best mate and visiting Tali on Rannoch would be awesome.

When I'm really pissed off, I wish I live in Animal Crossing. Everything would be so simple.

- Avalon from the Wings series. I'd love to be a fall faerie.
- Of course Harry Potter! I'm a proud Ravenclaw :)
- When I'm feeling overwhelmed, I'd love to live in Harvest Moon. Life is so simple and beautiful in that game. sigh...
- I agree with the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'd want to be a waterbender. :)

Either Hyrule, Termina, The Lord Of The Rings, or Skyrim, would be great!Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 for the scenery, A world that I rule! that would be nice too. Or to live in the world of I-Robot or some kind of futuristic world with lots of machines flying cars, robots and all kinds of crazy fun stuff, or else Perfect Dark's world, Deus Ex Human Revolution, or some kind of medieval world, or a world where the Earth is all peaceful and is all plants trees and natural like how the Earth Originally was before our species (THE HUMANS) invented bulldozers created city's and had the nature removed and all of the city's now crush the natural Earth. There are lots of worlds I would want to live in for a day if I could, who knows, maybe one day scientists will invent a scientific device that mimics sunglasses and they can be programmed to see the world through a new perspective when worn.

Whoops I realized it said TV, but I also had Video Game worlds too hahah :)

Maybe Oblivion if it had all the mods, I could live there with buds if they had enough new things happening over the years. (like you start out with the dragonfires, and way later they have guns and motorcycles and whatever)
