Sims won't touch when using kiss actions

I'm trying to work on a story, and I'm taking a lot of pictures. But I noticed that the sims' lips aren't touching each other when they kiss, even the make out action that their faces usually mush together. I tried sticking out their facial profile as far and possible and moving the mouth and jaw depth as far forward as I could, it still didn't work and now my sims look ridiculous, lol.

Is anyone else having this glitch?
