Merging Households.

Okay, this is a very nooby question but I have a four-Sim household and I am trying to move ONE Sim out and into another Sim's house. And I can't for the life of me figure out how.

I thought there was a merge households button but if there is I can't find it. I've done things like this before, I thought, and it was probably before I had Pets, which is why I'm posting here. Pets is the newest EP I have. These Sims life in Bridgeport, which is probably irrelevant. But I don't know if they changed something about how it works or what.

If it matters, I created all four Sims who live in the household but I did not create the Sim whose house I'm trying to get my other Sim to move into.

Go into edit town. Select your house of sims, and click on the divide household button (bottom of the interaction window, it looks like 2 people divided by a line). Select the sim you wish to move out. This will place the sim on your "clipboard". Now, click on that sim on the clipboard. Insert the sim into any new household you wish. Important! Make sure you properly select which house/family you want to be active. I assume it's house 1, where you're removing the sim from. If it's to be house 2, make sure you select accordingly.
