Game freezes ever few seconds

I'm playing my game right now and every time I use the speed up time options, it freezes for a few seconds then unfreezes. Its been doing this since last night. This is extremely frustrating, any help is appreciated. Thanks. Edit: This happens with everything I do in-game. (I.e: Looking at needs, saving, moving the camera around, etc.)

The freezes is most likely caused by a sim/pet that is stuck somewhere (which is a known to cause issues like this), if you use MasterController try reset everything (CityHall/Nraas/MasterController/Town) if you don't use MC, you can use the cheatconsule to do similar thing, the command is ResetSim *
