View Full Version : [Issue Resolved] Installed Sim not showing up...

Today I installed the Sims 2 (core game) and The Sims 2 Seasons. I enabled custom content properly and everything... I downloaded a sim from here (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=132720&c=1&ht=0&page=3&pp=25#actualtab2). I clicked on it and it installed properly (I think) and I launched the game but could not find her any where. Please help thanks in advance.

Do you mean you couldn't find her in CAS? Did you download all the custom content that wasn't included in the download (looks like the hair, skintone, and clothing)? If you didn't, it's quite possible you just don't recognize the sim without the cc. With different skin, especially, sims can look really different in-game!

Well it has everything except the skin tone which I think should be ok... see...

It would be nice if you could tell us the solution. That way, the next person with this problem may be able to find the solution more easily.

Oh ok sorry about that :(... well it was actually pretty simple. I forgot to download the mesh for a few things and it would not show up so I found the proper mesh after a bit of googleing I found it and put it into the downloads folder and everything worked properly.

For Chi (that is the character you see in my screenshot) *almost* all of the things you see (her ears, dress, and etc.) are only available under the teen settings... if this is an issue (like say you want to get married) you can use a mod (or whatever the name of it is) called insimenator.
