How do default face templates work?

I don't really understand, how does it work? Do I just install it and put it in my Downloads folder? Is there more to it than that?

I'm asking because I'm making a new neighborhood, and I'd really like it if my townies were actually attractive... So yeah.

I really want to use Katuchan's default face templates, but I'm just not sure how to install it into my game and how it works?

Yes, you just put it in your Downloads folder. Any new sims that are generated will be generated with the new faces.

However, existing sims in your neighborhood will not be affected. If you want all of your townies to use the new templates, then you're going to have to install empty templates, so that your neighborhood doesn't start with ugly townies.
