Purple metal

I'm not sure if I'm having a graphics glitch, or I'm being oversensitive, but it seems like almost all the metal textures in the game have a distinctive purple hue. For a quick example, the default pool stairs are where I first noticed this, and now I see it everywhere. Does anyone else have this?

The metal textures reflect the colors of the environment surrounding them. If you change the color of the lighting/floor/ceiling/nearby furniture, then the metal object will reflect a change as well. I think.

Might it also be the day/night cycle? With EA's default lighting, nights always have a weird purple hue. I notice that my edge of my walls were also purple during the nights. After I downloaded a lighting mod, the purple went away.
