So I had to restart a neighborhood and one of my sims lost her badges as a result. These badges were earned under after hours of skilling with the longer skilling mod so I really don't feel like having her earn them again.
How can I give her the badges back? I know simpe can do it but I've never edited a sim like this with simpe. Also are there any hacked items that will do it. I thought maybe the batbox had an option but I didn't see one when I was playing yesterday.

Badges can be given/removed with the Sim Blender.

Yes, I'd also recommend the Sim Blender. It's very very simple to use for restoring badges. I've never tried to do it in SimPE, but I expect it's much more complicated!

Well, it isn't but you can use the Blender while you are playing - it is more convenient.

Really? I would assume that it might be for people who weren't familiar with SimPE. I know SimPE is quite straightforward for some things once you get used to it, but it can be a bit overwhelming for people who haven't used it before. And yes, the Sim Blender is very convenient - I like being able to give sims badges etc without having to quit the game, open SimPE, edit the sim I want to change, close SimPE, restart the game, load the 'hood, load the lot. Definitely more convenient! :-)

It's just a matter of clicking an option but you're right, being able to do it without shutting down the game, firing up SimPE, finding the option, setting it, shutting down SimPE, loading the game .... etc etc. SimBlender is generally much quicker if you are already on lot.

Also, it is always recommended to do things in game rather than in SimPE whenever possible. SimPE can occasionally miss something that will automatically be taken care of if it is done in-game.

If you are restarting a neighbourhood and want to fix other things along with badges, simpe is the best. You can go through each sim and set skills, badges, family ties etc. It isn't at all complicated-it just looks to be when you’re not familiar with it. But just for a badge the simblender is best. It's slightly hidden, as it isn't under skills (where I think it should be) but under traits
