View Full Version : Problems with poseboxes

I'm not sure if this is just my game, or if others experience it too, but whenever I'm placing sims, whilst posing, next to other sims they sort of "snap" out of place. They usually get stuck onto the other sim, but sometimes they snap to the other end of the lot (Even off the lot on rare occasions, and don't come back until I re-enter the lot). It seems that when one sim is placed too close to another this ends up happening. It's really annoying; I can never make natural-looking snapshots because the poses don't look nice :faceslap: Is this something caused by a faulty posebox or is it a glitchy part of the game that I'll have to get used to? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Yeah, sims do that. I find it helps to get the OFB magisplay for the other sim to stand on, then you can move them much closer before using the recolour tool to make it invisible (there's an invisible recolour of it on this site somewhere).

HP posted some advice regarding that problem a few years ago. Put one sim in the right pose. Now find a small decorative object (She had a plate of cookies that she used; I discovered gnomes also work) and start putting them on that sim. Eventually the sim's slots get full and the cookies (or gnome) is put on the floor. Now move the second sim into position and delete the cookies (or gnomes).
