View Full Version : Residential Roommate(s)

Ok, first time posting, hoping I am doing this the right way.

As the title says, I somehow got the need to be able to take in roommates in a normal (residential) household. I'd like this because I would like to be able to focus on one sim, without being alone in the house. Also because I would like SOME degree of control over the other sims, but I would like them to be able to take care of their own needs.

Anyway, I looked around a little, and nothing of the sort seems to exist. Or does it? That is my question.

If nobody knows of such a hack, does anyone know where and how on this site I can post a request, because everywhere I look I get on a thread where the rules specifically point out not to request. I'm new on the site, so I just don't know.

Anyway, hope you can help me.

PS: yes, I have been to the request page, where all the creators post about wheter they accept requests or not and what kind of requests, but (this a question on the side) it does not make clear (to ME at least) how to request, it just says not to post requests, but where is my requests supposed to go then? PM them or something?

Basically, MTS doesn't support requests. However, some creators are willing to consider some kinds of requests. You can find those creators here:

Would you consider making a one-apartment apartment building? That would allow you to have a roommate.

Well, building a one-apartment building is an option, but i'd rather see it on a residential lot (you don't have to pay rent and you can't build in it however you like all the time).

And I said it in the PS, I have already been to the page you linked, but I haven't a clue how to actually put in the request, or rather, how that would be socialy acceptable (people can make trouble out of the tiniest things sometimes) so am I just supposed to PM them, because the page doesn't seem to tell anything about how the request is supposed to be made. I don't know how request are usualy done to the creators.

If the creator doesn't specifically say how to contact them, then a PM would be appropriate. From the first post in that thread:Making Requests:

If you see a creator listed who makes the sort of thing you'd want to request, click on their name to go to their profile, and then send them a Private Message (PM) with your request.
