Lerpduration Help

I'm having trouble changing the Lerpduration for my game. I've followed basically every tutorial, and guide. I'm still having problems though. My computer acknowledges me as an administrator, but for some reason, when I try to change the lerpduration, it says access denied. I've tried the copy and paste method, but it says I need to insert a writable disk. All I want is to be able to make my sims 3 series as good as I possibly can. Can anyone help me? It would mean so much. :(

I've followed a youtube tutorial by nittens, i've followed the one here on modthesims, and there have been more, but my computer doesn't respond to them. it says im already an administrator..and i don't know anymore than that..I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. And i've been trying for weeks. :( :help:

What steps, precisely, are you following?
And I think I've messed up my sim disk, although the game works fine, because it keeps saying that the GameData folder, and everything in it needs to be written to disk..but I don't know what I did :O
