Installing Package Files

i follwed this steps on this guide

however where it says i should get a plumbomb i dont get it i just have a white page icon i removed the framework 3 times to try again yet same problem

i have the latest patch too

The icon doesn't matter, just keep going.

New Problem

I put in generation cd and when i go throgh the sim Launcher it stright aways exits with black screen

All is patched up

im using launcher version 8.0.152..016001

What should i do, do i have uninstall sim3 base game

Why did you uninstall the base game? Have you also reinstalled everything and patched again?

I have a little problem, i'm new to all the mod stuff in installing things.. I have done EVERYTHING in the instructions, I put the package files in the mod folder and STILL cant access the new stuff in my game.. I have no clue what I'm missing or what else to do. it's make up, 2 hair styles and eyes.. Should I have put them in downloads instead??? PLEASE HELP!!

If that doesn't work, start a new thread and post screenshots of your My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3 folder, My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods folder, My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder, and the text of the resource.cfg
