Sims 3 Patches?

Ok I hope this is the right section to post this in. I have the sims 3 and my latest game version is 1.29. I know I know summer just started for me so I haven't updated for a while. But I never got this straight - Do I have to download each patch separately (like download and install 1.31, 1.32, 1.33 and 1.34 one at a time)? And yes I manually install patches. Or can I just install patch 1.34 and skip the others? Like will patch 1.34 cover all the other stuff in the other patches in 1.31, 1.32, and 1.33? Thanks guys! Sorry if this is a dumb question and it's not supposed to go here! :(

Generally my understanding in the launcher will download what it thinks your need.

The easiest way to ensure you have all the patches you need is use the Patch Downloader (http://www.modthesims.info/d/409829) mod.

I use it and find that it's easier and more stable than the official launcher.
